Self-Discovery through Process Painting
Gateway to Presence is a creative workshop exploring connection, peace, and self-acceptance through painting.

In this 1-day workshop intensive, hosted by Unity Spiritual Centre, you are invited to express yourself through a process-oriented approach to art. This means you are paying attention to your inner journey, not the outcome, or product. 

This workshop is a unique, supportive space, free from judgement and comparison. Rather than trying to improve, fix, or achieve something, you’re encouraged to let go and meet yourself —just as you are. 

Creative expression is the gateway for letting go, self-discovery, and personal breakthroughs. And you don't have to be "artistic" to experience this!

All are welcome—from those who feel “I can’t draw” to experienced artists looking for a more freeing, intuitive approach to art making.

Details:
  • All supplies are included in fee. 
  • Coffee, tea, water, and light snacks will be provided. We will plan for a 30-minute lunch break.
  • Painters will be sitting down to paint, so you won't be on your feet all day (unless you want to be!) 
  • Workshop is for 18+ adults only (no exceptions).
  • This is an alcohol-free event.

What to bring:
  • Sack Lunch 
  • Apron or smock
  • Journal

Saturday, August 22nd, 2026, 10:30 am - 4:30 pm 
Location: Unity Spiritual Centre, Girard, Ohio.
Fee: Regular $33; Supporter Fee $66 (for those who are able to contribute more to help make it more accessible for others).
